Hello, my name is Jonathan, and this is my story. As a young kid, I attended public school from kindergarten through 5th grade, but after that, I switched to homeschooling. I struggled with paying attention and was held back a couple of times, but homeschooling gave me a lot of free time. That's when I had the idea to start a mobile detailing business. I shared my idea with my neighbor, Tom, and he was kind enough to pick up some car washing supplies for me from Costco—a bucket, towels, a hose nozzle, and soap. I was so excited! He even asked me to wash his car and paid me for it. From that day on, I went from neighbor to neighbor, saving my money and reinvesting it into my business.

The next upgrade was a pressure washer and chemicals. Eventually, I even bought myself a 3-wheel electric drift trike and a 2-wheel dolly to carry my equipment. I remember feeling embarrassed riding past schools, worried that kids my age would laugh at me. But I stayed focused on my goal of improving my business and transportation. About 2 years Later I upgraded to an electric bike with a custom trailer built by my dad, but Unfortunatly because of the weight in the trailer it didn’t work out. I resorted to Uber and Lyft for rides, and even asked neighbors and clients to pick me up and drop me off at jobs. I quickly realized I was spending all my earnings on transportation.

During this time, a close friend of mine offered to  give me rides and let me borrow her car, a 2012 Fiat with a convertible top. Many clients were surprised by how much I was able to fit into such a small car. Over time, I swapped between about 10 different cars, including rentals and some cars I flipped for extra money on the side. Then, I bought my first brand-new car, a 2023 Mazda CX-5, and used it for about two years. Finally, After many years of embarrassing moments, struggles, and perseverance, I saved up and bought my own dream van, which took about a year to build exactly how I envisioned it. With the help of a Custom Body Shop (All Brite) and A Detailing Shop Called (H20)

I am incredibly grateful to everyone in Monrovia and within the 5 mile radius who has helped and supported me along the way. Without your help I would not have gotten this far!
